I love country music! We began our Sunday morning by visiting the two most sacred country music venues: The Grand Ole Opry House and "The First Church of Country Music", The Ryman. We were very fortunate that today was somewhat overcast so that the temperature wasn't quite so high and that we were able to find a partially shaded, free parking spot with a breeze, downtown. This allowed us to comfortably leave Vecsey, but return frequently to check on her. We spent much of the day and the evening walking around "The District" listening to different musical acts. I also paid homage at the Country Music Hall of Fame, where numerous memories surfaced as I recalled past performances, country greats, and wonderful songs. A day in one city meant only 52 km today. Country music feels right in my soul - thanks for the sound, Nashville!
