Now that I no longer have a dress schedule, (nor a reason to get dressed everyday for that matter) I finally have the ultimate walk-in closet. I'm still organizing and adding clothes as we unpack, but it already looks pretty good. Lisa graciously allowed me to take the biggest closet as she knows I have more use for it, and she finds that highly amusing (especially here where a Stanfield's wool sweater is basically the male uniform). |
We went to the community Family Movie Night (which is usually held about every three weeks). It was a good selection for Honeymoon Bay as it was about a small community (in the Canadian Maritimes) trying to entice a doctor to stay there to save the town. Only 20 people showed up, but it is still a nice little local event. The next one will be in January as December features a Christmas dinner event. We've now met several of our neighbours and other friendly "villagers". Slowly but surely, this is beginning to feel like home. |
