We began September by attending Cobble Hill's final "Music in the Park" event of the year, a "Born Reckless" performance. We continued to walk at all the same nearby places: Cobble Hill Mountain, the Cowichan Estuary, Hecate Park, etcetera. Lisa cycled, including a ride with Debbie, until her sore back prohibited it. Additionally, we hiked the steep path to the summit of Mt. Finlayson. We met Michelle, Sheryl, and Lindsey at Esquimalt Ribfest. After I pressure-washed the deck, Lisa applied a new coat of stain and Shaun reinforced the corner construction and added an additional post. Tasty treats always make life better. We made a trip down to Victoria for Lisa to be treated by a recommended chiropractor. While there we enjoyed meeting Michelle Ostan on her lunch break, but were appalled to witness the extent of the homeless issue in one of the world's most beautiful cities. Victoria is littered with tents and absolutely reeked of urine. I enjoy "street art" but not tagging. We watched a variety of movies. We finished watching "Black Sails" and got a kick out of Karl Pilkington's travels on "An Idiot Abroad". I did a fair amount of reading in September.
