In the first half of the month, we spent time with family and friends and prepared for a trip to Brazil. Lisa coordinated an evaluation for St. John's Therapy Dogs, and we both ended up volunteering at it. She also took a part time contract with the Cowichan District Medical Society, so she was busy accomplishing as much as possible prior to leaving for a full month. As usual, we made our way to the Lower Mainland days prior to our flight in order to visit people. We had a lunch and a dinner with Auntie Janet and June. I had a nice visit with Michelle Ky, and we went out for dinner with my family in Langley. We continued to enjoy our walks and I read several novels. |
